WHAT’S NEW IN THIS VERSION?
MORE DECODED DATA FROM NOKIA DEVICES
New decoding of some 50+ Nokia phones has been added
to XRY 6.9. Physical extraction now gives you data such as,
SMS, MMS, e-mail, contacts, calls, events, notes and tasks.
VERSION 6.9 OF XRY OFFERS
support for 15 new apps and updates
for 40 already supported apps. This
ensures that users have access to data
from the most popular apps, current
versions as well as older versions.
THE NEW METHOD RECOVERS more system and user applica-
tion data than ever before. This is done without the need to jail -
break the iDevice upon examination. The new version of Logical
extraction supports any iOS version on any iDevice. A requirement
is that the iDevice is not passcode locked, or if the Lockdown file
can be found.
ENHANCED LOGICAL
EXTRACTION OF iDEVICES
With XRY version 6.9 the amount of
deleted SQLite data, such as SMS, MMS
and iMessage, has vastly improved.
Even if the iDevice has iTunes Backup
Encryption enabled, XRY 6.9 is able to
extract and decode deleted SQLite data.
COMMON EXTRACTION FEATURES
The “Save file” dialog has a new GUI. It now allows the creation
of a new folder by typing the folder name in the path.
Feature documentation for Logical support in the XRY Device
Manual (which is also available in the Extraction Wizard) has
been updated. Pictures, video etc. has been merged to Files.
Calendar, tasks, notes now appear together in Calendar.
To the benefit of the user feature documentation for Logical
and Physical now follow the same structure.
ANDROID
The Android Decoder now decodes more than one logical image
in one XRY file. Users may extract first through the backup method
followed by the agent method, creating two images in one XRY file.
Contacts and installed apps cache from Google Search decoded.

PHYSICAL FEATURES
Improved decoding of Samsung SCH-WXXX CDMA/GSM phones.
XRY now offers support for Contacts, Calls, Calendar, Tasks,
Notes, Alarms, Unlock code (decoding, 6 devices).
Updated decoding support for Samsung PNX phones. Improve-
ments include Calls and Contacts as well as IMSI decoding.
Several improvements to XSR flash decoding. This will give full
system support on a large number devices which earlier were
partially supported.
